NA003 Navigating Foreclosure on Tribal Land - Interactive Webinar Training

As the Native homeownership market grows in Indigenous communities across the country, Native and Native-serving practitioners are examining the differences with the foreclosure and eviction processes, procedures, and realities on tribal land. Tribal sovereignty, customized mortgage products, and cultural considerations all play a role. This course will help practitioners to navigate the foreclosure and eviction processes and explore how to best counsel clients towards housing stability. Lenders will gain a better understanding of relevant legal processes and how to engage with borrowers.

This interactive, 90-minute, facilitated webinar will include resource materials, interactive polling and participant Q&A with faculty. A short quiz will open at the end of the session which you must pass to obtain the certificate of completion.

This course provides 1.5 hours of NCHEC continuing education.
