This two-day course offers an overview of skills and tips for those who are now in supervisory management roles, as well as experienced supervisors wanting to enhance their skills. Discuss the core principles of effective supervision and the shift that takes place as you move from worker to supervisor. Learn more about the communication skills that will make you more successful and how to have the tough conversation with employees that we sometimes need to have. We will also cover elements of performance management and team building. Equally important, you will learn from the experience of other new supervisors facing many of the same challenges, and together, develop useful strategies and skills to address those challenges.
