Recommended for staff, management and board members interested in improving servicing and collections operations, this intermediate level course will cover the policy and procedural basics of community-based mortgage servicing, including best practices and compliance considerations. Topics will include roles and responsibilities of board members and all servicing staff, servicing software, security instruments, file storage, non-default and default servicing, as well as internal/external reporting. In addition, the course highlights possible loan loss reserve options.
