Course Details

Rental eviction intervention programs are designed to help clients avoid rental evictions and minimize harm when evictions cannot be prevented. A range of program models exist that build on an organization’s capacity and meet the local community’s needs. Common components, offered holistically by one organization or via partnerships with multiple entities, include outreach, counseling or coaching, financial assistance, legal services and wraparound services. In this program design course, participants will explore different program models and best practices for offering eviction intervention services that best suit local needs. Participants will examine their organizations’ capacity and identify how they will conduct outreach, develop partnerships, track outcomes and plan for sustainability.

This course is for housing counselors, financial counselors, financial coaches, resident services coordinators and staff, program managers and senior leadership.

Enroll in our accelerated 4-day faculty-led course which is designed for optimal interactivity and engagement. Days 1 and 3, are comprised of a total of 4 hours of live online instruction, divided into two sessions with a 1-hour break in between. Days 2 and 4 are dedicated to self-paced completion of all activities and assignments. All required coursework is due by 11:59 p.m. PT on the designated day of class.

• share your experience and knowledge
• schedule your time accordingly to complete all required activities within the deadlines provided

NOTE: Learners must complete all required coursework in a satisfactory manner to receive their certificate of completion. A passing score in this course is 80% based on the total course points available.
