>*Recommended for counselors with at least one year of foreclosure intervention counseling experience and who have already completed HO345rq. Familiarity with foreclosure concepts, terminology, and counseling practices will be assumed.

This two-day course focuses on the skill sets that foreclosure intervention counselor need to perform. It is designed to address and practice four content areas. These four content areas will include Core Elements, Analysis and Assessment, Solution Focused Counseling Skills and Submission and Closure of the Loss Mitigation Package. It is an opportunity to put foreclosure intervention skills into practice in a real-world and hands-on setting.

This course satisfies Part II of the training requirements for the Foreclosure Intervention and Default Counseling Certification, Part I program.

This course counts toward initial NCHEC certification.
