Course Details

This one-day course is designed for housing counselors working with disaster victims. It features a comprehensive Consumer Resource Guide to help counselors navigate state and federal resource programs available to disaster victims and provide information about housing recovery options for renters, homeowners and to those who are undecided.

By the end of this course housing counselors will successfully navigate the Consumer Resource Guide to effectively counsel clients in housing recovery and to provide outreach to disaster victims.
