Having a solid understanding of the components of the Making Home Affordable Program (MHA) is crucial for delivering effective foreclosure intervention counseling in today's marketplace. Designed for both seasoned and novice foreclosure intervention counselors, this interactive course provides detailed information on the MHA. Key topics include program eligibility requirements, the decision process and servicer requirements for both the Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP) and the Home Affordable Refinance Program (HARP), as well as the FHA HAMP program. Participants will discuss how the "waterfall" method is used, and will learn about the alternative programs now available under the Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternatives (HAFA).
