HO056 Is VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Right for Your Organization? - Interactive Webinar Training

Join us to learn about the key strategic questions your organization should be asking if you are considering starting a VITA program to support your financial capability efforts. This webinar will cover key components of adding tax preparation to your business model and how to assess your organization’s readiness in this area. This includes evaluating your mission and market, considering appropriate program design, determining your internal capacity to start and grow a VITA program, and identifying key partnerships necessary to support a successful community tax preparation program.

The webinar training will include resource materials, interactive polling, and participant Q&A with the faculty. A quiz will open at the conclusion of the session which must be passed in order to obtain a certificate and credit toward continuing education hours. Participants can access the training site upon registration and begin looking at the available resources prior to the live online training session. Participants will complete the quiz and print their certificate immediately after the live session.
