CL167b Making Sense of Your Neighborhood's Economy and How to Improve It
In this interactive session, you will gain an understanding of factors that influence your local economy and impact how communities relate to neighborhood-based economics. You will learn basic strategies used to improve local economies and look at ways these strategies are being employed in local neighborhoods. This workshop will also help you to become familiar with key players in neighborhood economic development as well as help to examine ways in which your own local group or organization can impact local economic development.
