Course Details

This course is especially designed for anyone in a supervisory role including new supervisors and those supervisors wanting to enhance their skills on key aspects of effective supervision. Interactive exercises will enable participants to develop practical and personalized strategies that lead others to perform the tasks, skills and behaviors to accomplish the goals of an organization. This course covers the core principles of effective supervision and the shift that takes place as you move from staff to supervisor. It incorporates frameworks that guide performance management and team building as well as the basics of good communication and effective conflict management while creating a harassment free workplace. Supervisors will leave the course with tools to successfully address common challenges that face all supervisors.
