ML013 The Art and Science of Facilitation - Interactive Webinar Training

Group facilitation is both an art and a science. While most of us learn to facilitate from experience, there are proven methods that can improve our skills and maximize our impact. This is especially true now that we are learning how to facilitate in a mostly virtual world. During this webinar, we will look at both the changes to make when facilitating online as well as core skills that remain the same no matter the medium. You'll also identify your personal facilitation strengths and weaknesses and gain a better understanding of how your values impact your work. We will also look at best practices for leading groups towards decision-making and strategies for managing group dynamics.

The webinar training will last 90 minutes and include resource materials, check-and-reflect activities, interactive polling, and participant Q&A with the faculty. A quiz will open at the conclusion of the session which must be passed in order to obtain a certificate and credit toward continuing education hours. Participants can access the training site upon registration and begin looking at the available resources prior to the live online training session. Participants will complete the quiz and print their certificate immediately after the live session.
