Course Details

Understanding and successfully navigating today's lending environment begins with the basics. This online course provides Homeownership Professionals with key mortgage principles and lending procedures to prepare to effectively work with clients. Topics include basic overview of mortgage types and categories, qualifying factors and required mortgage documentation. Through a variety of exercises and activities, each participant will gain baseline knowledge of the mortgage process. This course is recommended for professionals new to the industry or as a continuing education refresher course, and is a suggested prerequisite to our 3-day classroom course, Lending Basics for Homeownership Counselors (HO103). This course would provide 2.5 hours of continuing education.
