Vice President, National Initiatives
Tonya Tyler is the vice president of operations for National Initiatives. Prior to her current role, she was the vice president of the National Foreclosure Mitigation Counseling (NFMC) Program, where she managed the final year of the programs' appropriation and provided oversight of the wind down of the program. During her 10-year tenure in the NFMC program, she was responsible for developing and managing the NFMC Quality Control and Compliance process for grantees. 

Before joining NeighborWorks America, she spent 15 years as the housing director responsible for Housing and Community Development programs at Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission in Columbus, Ohio, which included the development and oversight of foreclosure and pre- and post-purchase housing counseling. Tyler has a Master's degree in Business Administration from Webster University.
