Renée Boudreaux Joe joins NeighborWorks America as the organization’s senior vice president of Communications & Marketing. As the National School Boards Association’s (NSBA) inaugural chief marketing & communications officer, she spearheaded initiatives to fortify the organizational brand, enrich user experience and drive revenue. She also revamped the strategic marketing, communications, and creative teams as well as expanded her purview to include oversight of business development and conferences and meetings, acting as interim transformation officer. Concurrently, she excelled as publisher of the acclaimed 133-year-old American School Board Journal.

Before her tenure at NSBA, Joe propelled global membership as vice president of Global Membership Development for Marketing and Services at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. She also held roles as vice president of Marketing & Communications at the Entrepreneurs’ Organization and editor-in-chief of Octane magazine, pioneering successful global branding, translation and social media initiatives targeting CEOs worldwide. Additionally, Joe served as managing director of marketing at the Association for Financial Professionals, achieving double-digit revenue growth for conferences and products.

Her diverse private sector experience includes roles at LexisNexis, The Mead Corporation and The Eveready Battery Company. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science from Tulane University and a Master of Business Administration from Boston University.
